Pamela Fisher receives "Safety Professional of the Year (SPY)" award from American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE)
Georgia Chapter. During a recent meeting of the ASSE in Atlanta, Pamela Fisher was surprised with the announcement that she had been selected as recipient of the SPY award for 2004 - 2005. Each year the ASSE selects one safety professional to receive the award. SPY is a highly prized award for outstanding achievement in the safety profession. Congratulations to Pamela for this accomplishment.
Pamela Fisher elected 2005 - 2006 President of American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE)
Georgia Chapter. In the spring of 2005, Pamela Fisher was nominated and elected President of the ASSE - Georgia Chapter. In this capacity, she plans to build upon the achievements of her predecessors by increasing membership, increasing attendance to monthly meetings and improving the depth and quality of presentations provided at all chapter meetings.

PROSAFE involved in Hurricane Katrina Relief effort on Gulf Coast
Recently PROSAFE Solutions was asked by the Georgia Tech Research Institute to provide training services on the Gulf Coast. The training is part of the Hurricane Katrina Relief effort being conducted by Georgia Tech and its OSHA Training Institute Education Center under a recently awarded Susan Harwood Grant from OSHA. All training is offered to workers involved in Katrina Relief at no charge. Since that request, we have provided or will provide the following:
