OSHA 10 & 30-Hour Courses
These courses are designed to help companies meet OSHA competent person requirements for the implementation and maintenance effective safety and health programs. Courses cover pertinent OSHA policies, procedures, standards, common hazards, and hazard abatement techniques.
The OSHA 10 Hour Course is designed as a basic introduction to OSHA standards and requirements for workers and supervisors. The OSHA 30 Hour course is a more expanded version designed for supervisors, managers, and safety personnel. All courses are conducted by OSHA-Authorized Instructors.
Upon successful completion of these courses, participants will receive a course completion wallet card from the OSHA Training Institute.
Trench & Excavation Competent Person CourseThis eight-hour course is designed to help companies meet OSHA competent person requirements for safe work in trenches and excavations. The course covers OSHA standards and requirements, common causes of cave-ins, soil mechanics, soils analysis including hands-on training in soil testing methods, soil classification, and the selection and use of protective systems. Qualified and experienced instructors conduct all courses.
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a course completion certificate and wallet card.
Scaffold Competent Person Course
This eight-hour course is designed to help companies meet the requirements set forth by OSHA for safe work on scaffolding. The course is customized to each company's needs for your specific type of scaffolding, such as tubular welded frame, tube and coupler, mobile scaffolds or aerial lifts. Course topics cover common scaffold hazards, proper scaffold construction, scaffold inspection, fall protection, and safe work procedures. Qualified and experienced instructors conduct all courses.
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a course completion certificate and wallet card.
Fall Protection Competent Person Course This eight-hour course is designed to help companies meet the OSHA requirements for a competent person on site to make decisions regarding fall protection for employees. Course topics include common fall hazards, hazard analysis, fall arrest systems, fall prevention, fall restraint, selection of proper anchorage points, proper use of guardrail systems, and OSHA standards. Qualified and experienced instructors conduct all courses.
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a course completion certificate and wallet card.
Confined Space Entry Course for Entrants, Attendants, & Supervisors This course is designed to train all employees involved in confined space entry safe work practices and OSHA requirements for entry. Course topics include common confined space hazards, permit-required spaces, permit systems, use of atmospheric testing equipment, ventilation, confined space rescue, duties of attendants, entrants, & supervisors and personal protective equipment. Qualified and experienced instructors conduct all courses.
